Data deletion instructions

Effective and updated November 3, 2026 · Version 2026-11-03

Request account or sign-in data deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject ‘Collector Showplace data deletion request’. Preferably send it from your account email. Include that email, the account and owned collections you want deleted, and any relevant workspace names. If you cannot use that inbox, contact us to arrange another way to verify ownership. Never send passwords, sign-in codes or payment-card details.

The operator will review your request, verify ownership where necessary, clarify its scope and confirm the outcome or explain any information that must remain. Account-wide deletion is currently a manually handled request, not an automatic button. We respond within applicable legal deadlines; we do not promise an unverified fixed deletion time.

Delete an individual item yourself

Sign in and use the item’s Archive action. The confirmation offers permanent deletion, or you can open Archive and permanently delete an archived item there. Archiving alone preserves the item and its storage use. Permanent deletion removes the item and initiates removal of its associated photos and documents. Export anything you want to keep first; permanent deletion cannot be undone through the site.

Your sign-in method

Each account uses the sign-in method selected at registration: Google, Facebook, or email code. Methods cannot be connected or switched in Account settings. Email codes do not provide access to Google or Facebook accounts. You may remove the app through your provider settings; that does not delete data held by Collector Showplace. To request account deletion, use the email instructions above.

What deletion covers and what may remain

A full-account request includes your account/profile, sign-in identifiers and the collections, items, photos and documents you own, subject to verification and applicable exceptions. We also review related import, assistance and support records. We do not delete another person’s workspace simply because you collaborated in it; shared records may require coordination with their owner.

Some information may need to remain for legal duties, security, preventing repeated trial abuse or preserving shared-record history. Backup copies are separate from live data and are not immediately erased. Offsite backups currently lack automatic age-based pruning. We will explain relevant retained records and unresolved backup limitations instead of claiming that every copy has been removed. Copies independently downloaded by other people are outside our control.

Trial expiration and automatic trial deletion remain paused. That pause does not prevent you from requesting deletion or permanently deleting your own items.
