About Collector Showplace
Your showplace for your Asian art collection.
Collector Showplace helps collectors and dealers catalog what they own, preserve the history behind each item, and share the pieces they love. Start with a private collection and decide what you want the world to see.
Catalog your collection
Keep ceramics, jade, bronzes, scholar’s objects, textiles, snuff bottles, paintings, prints, and other Asian works of art together. Record catalog numbers, artists, marks, themes, measurements, condition, provenance, and notes, with fields suited to the object.
Organize it your way
Group items into named collections and find them with search, filters, and sorting. Switch between thumbnail, list, table, and photo views. Maintain reusable categories, artists, themes, marks, contacts, and locations.
Keep the full story
Attach photographs and documents, arrange photos, and examine details in a zoomable slideshow. Record where and when an item was acquired, its original currency, and either a total purchase cost or a detailed breakdown.
Bring your existing records
Import spreadsheets with field mapping, group uploaded photos into new items, or prepare an item from a supported listing URL. AI assistance can help review import information; you review the proposed records before creating them.
Understand value and sales
Record estimated values, insurance policies, and sales made elsewhere. Use spending, value, insurance, and sales reports with graphs and drill-downs to explore your collection. Print item records and export your information and attachments.
Create your public showplace
Publish the collections you choose on your own public collection website. Choose which eligible fields visitors see, while private notes, acquisition costs, and private documents stay hidden. Visitors can explore your published photographs in the shared slideshow.
Keep control of your records
Keep personal collections and dealer inventory in separate workspaces, and invite collaborators with appropriate access. Archive items you want to retain, restore them later, or deliberately delete them when no longer needed.
Marketplace selling and checkout on collection websites are planned features. You can already record sales made elsewhere; Collector Showplace does not yet process those item sales.
